#106 returns

Sunday, September 30th, 2007 by diane

Sunday church again and we haven’t gone yet since being back from China last Saturday.  Mom started the day with a headache and was ready to skip again but we preserved and was only 5 minutes late.  Frank started crying as soon as we entered the nursery.  All those weeks in China didn’t wipe his memory of this place.  Mom filled out the form as dad waited outside listening to the screaming and crying.  We tried some distractions with toys but Frank didn’t want anything to do with them.  He just clung to mom as tight as he can.  Finally mom got him off and another lady took him while trying to avoid his hitting her in the face.  Mom left and entered the service waiting for his number (106) to light up in the 5 minutes allotted.  5 minutes went and another 5 minutes went.  Only a 102 ever got lit up.  Is that thing broken?  Then the service was over and mom entered the nursey seeing Frank placing with Joseph.  They were both helping put the tools back into the tool bench.  Must be clean up time.  Frank turned around when mom called him and he smiled and came over right away.  The nice lady informed mom what a bright boy he was, how he knew so many baby signs, and also that he is a hitter and they kept a close eye on him.  That sounds like my boy.  We were all so proud of him lasting the entire service in their care.
